On the morning of January 19, 2024, Saigon University of Technology (STU) collaborated with the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation of the National University in Ho Chi Minh City (CEA-HCM) to organize a ceremony to announce the decision and award the quality accreditation certificates for the educational institution and the undergraduate program in Information Technology.
Associate Professors Doctor. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, the Director of CEA-HCM, and other evaluators attended this certification ceremony. The event also saw the participation of Mr. Pham Minh Tri, VP of Business Development at ITC Group. From STU, key figures present included Associate Professor Doctor. Truong Quang Mui, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Party Secretary, as well as founders, board members, and leaders of STU units, along with representatives of teachers, students, and alumni

Associate Professor Doctor Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, the Director of CEA-HCM, shared a few words: “Self-assessment and quality accreditation in education are crucial tasks aimed at improving the training quality to better serve the learners. With the right direction, focusing on quality accreditation as the core in all training activities, the university will soon achieve its set goals.”
The CEA-HCM presented the quality accreditation certificate for the Information Technology undergraduate program at STU, which adheres to the education quality standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training. The evaluation included 11 standards, and 50 criteria, with an outstanding result of 45 criteria meeting requirements (90%).
As a longstanding partner of Saigon University of Technology since its early years, ITC Group has played a significant role in this achievement. By providing a learning environment with a business-oriented approach, it has facilitated student internships in large-scale IT projects for numerous corporate partners, enabling continuous enhancement of students’ experience and specialized skills. To date, many students have had the opportunity to intern at ITC Group and have excelled, quickly advancing to key roles. ITC Group extends congratulations for the efforts of not only the university’s leadership, faculty, and outstanding alumni but also the collective endeavors of all STU students.

The ceremony was a great success, marking a significant milestone in the development of the information technology education quality at Saigon University of Technology.
