Job Description
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Participate in creating and executing test plans, scenarios, and cases to ensure comprehensive product validation against business and functional requirements.
- Hands-On Execution: Perform end-to-end testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). A key focus will be on functional, accessibility, compatibility, and API (REST/SOAP) testing.
- Process Contribution: Contribute to the refinement of our testing methodologies and the adoption of best practices to improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and meticulously track defects using Jira. Collaborate closely with development teams to analyze issues and verify resolutions.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively in an Agile environment, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and communicate testing progress.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
- Education: University Diploma in Computer Science, Information Management, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on QA experience testing websites, web-based applications, and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Technical Proficiency:
- Testing & Methodologies: Strong experience in the full SDLC within an Agile/Lean environment, including creating detailed Test Plans/Cases and performing Exploratory and Risk-Based testing.
- API & Web Testing: Solid experience with API testing (REST & SOAP) and familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
- Tools & Platforms: Proficiency with developer tools (Chrome DevTools), defect trackers (Jira), design tools (Figma), and testing platforms (BrowserStack).
- Databases: Good skills in SQL and working with databases like Oracle for data validation and backend testing.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the banking or finance sector is highly preferred.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) or website builder tools.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts.
