Job Description
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting for our multi-office network system.
- Set up, configure, audit, and troubleshoot employee computers and devices across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.
- Monitor, audit, and help enforce company-wide security standards in compliance with ISO 27001.
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud-based systems and applications, with on-the-job training to grow into a DevOps role.
- Provide high-quality technical support to end-users, focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for occasional after-hours or weekend support to address urgent issues and perform scheduled maintenance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education:
- A college diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in an IT support or system administrator role. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Solid understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Professional Competencies:
- Meticulous, careful, and attentive to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service mindset with a focus on improving user experience.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new responsibilities, particularly in DevOps.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Basic English reading skills for understanding technical documents and communications.
- Reliable and willing to be on-call for infrequent night/weekend duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with DrayTek networking equipment.
- Experience setting up or managing a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune) or a configuration management system (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- A demonstrable passion for technology and a strong desire to potentially grow into development (Dev or DevOps) roles in the future.
