Job Description

  • Perform maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting for our multi-office network system. 
  • Set up, configure, audit, and troubleshoot employee computers and devices across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms. 
  • Monitor, audit, and help enforce company-wide security standards in compliance with ISO 27001. 
  • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud-based systems and applications, with on-the-job training to grow into a DevOps role. 
  • Provide high-quality technical support to end-users, focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience. 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for occasional after-hours or weekend support to address urgent issues and perform scheduled maintenance. 
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures. 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Education: 
  • A college diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Experience: 
  • 0-2 years of experience in an IT support or system administrator role. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply. 
  • Technical Proficiency: 
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware and software. 
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems. 
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). 
  • Professional Competencies: 
  • Meticulous, careful, and attentive to detail. 
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Excellent customer service mindset with a focus on improving user experience. 
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new responsibilities, particularly in DevOps. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. 
  • Basic English reading skills for understanding technical documents and communications. 
  • Reliable and willing to be on-call for infrequent night/weekend duties. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Hands-on experience with DrayTek networking equipment. 
  • Experience setting up or managing a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune) or a configuration management system (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). 
  • A demonstrable passion for technology and a strong desire to potentially grow into development (Dev or DevOps) roles in the future.
