Data Scientist

• Analyze user behavior and business metrics to support MVP decisions and iteration cycles 

• Collaborate with product managers and Lead Concept Development to define success metrics and KPIs 

• Build machine learning models or algorithms to enhance product functionality 

• Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses 

• Communicate findings/insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences 

• Contribute to cross-project data practices and support consistency across the BU 

Analytical & Technical skills 

• Proficient in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling 

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data, large datasets 

• Familiarity with data analytics, visualization libraries/tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Plotly, seaborn, Tableau, Power BI) 

• Experience building and tuning models with MLlibraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow) is a plus 

• Solid understanding of statistical methods, experimental design, and hypothesis testing 

• Bonus: knowledge of MLOps practices (exposure to cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure for ML workflows), notebooks (Jupyter), or data versioning tools (DVC)

Background & Experience

• Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field 

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role 

• Experience supporting product teams, building MVPs, or working in an innovation/startup context is highly valued 

• Passion for solving new problems, adapting approaches to different domains, and helping build the data backbone of new ventures
